Time Warner has reported a jump in its second-quarter earnings thanks in part to a box office boost from the hit superhero movie Wonder Woman.
The owner of Warner Bros and HBO said total revenues increased by 5% to $7.3bn (£5.5bn).
Revenues at Warner Bros, which includes the movie business, rose by 12% to $3bn (£2.2bn) in the three months to 30 June, and by 1% to £1.5bn (£1.1bn) at HBO, home to hit fantasy drama Game of Thrones.
Turner, which owns CNN and Cartoon Network brands among others, was the most profitable part of the business and saw revenues jump by 3% to £3.1bn (£2.3bn).
A Wonder Woman sequel has been confirmed by Warner Bros, just months after the first became the most successful film of the DC Extended Universe.
Israeli actress Gal Gadot will return as the feminist warrior princess in December 2019, as Warner Bros tries to emulate the box office success of the original film released during the second quarter in May.

Time Warner said it had grossed around $800m at the global box office, as the figures were published on Wednesday.
The film studio is also behind the summer epic Dunkirk, and the company said it also expected to see a boost to its third-quarter results from the movie.
Chairman and CEO Jeff Bewkes said: "We're very pleased with our first-half results, which keep us on track to achieve our objectives for the year.
"Our performance is a result of the continued successful execution of our strategic objectives - with the strong subscription revenue growth at Home Box Office and Turner a great example of this - along with the investments we're making in our brands and high-quality video content.
"Warner Bros is home to the biggest cinematic hit of the summer so far with Wonder Woman, which has grossed approximately $800m at the global box office to date, and dazzled audiences again last month with the critically acclaimed Dunkirk.
"And last month, Game of Thrones returned to HBO, with the most-watched season premiere episode ever on HBO."
