On behalf of our reputable client, HR WORLD LTD is looking for A Mining Parts Planner & Controller who will effectively plan and meet parts requirements and ensure comprehensive support is given to the Parts, Service & Operations Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Manage, Planning, and forecasting for mining parts annual sales, and inventory control inside the VMI Parts list.
- Follow up and create VMI orders including the customer rebuild plan and parts sales/operation schedule or work plan to optimize parts availability onsite.
- Inventory management of individual items; Analysis of demand, canceled orders, fill rates, and safety stock.
- Monitor and manage logistics, delivery timing, and container utilization; Lead weekly collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment meetings
- Improved inventory turnover by determining slow-moving, obsolete, and overstocked products and suggesting a promotional plan to eliminate excess inventory to match the company strategy of decreasing stock value.
- Vet the parts lists submitted by the parts sales team and create the parts list from standard jobs or other sources.
- Create immediate, short, medium, and long-term parts ordering plans considering resource availability and review with the sales/operation team on site.
- Create Component Changeout schedules in line with Maintenance Strategies, Rebuild turn-around and Condition Monitoring plans and handle the job with Workshops.
- Liaise with workshop customer components rebuilds depending on equipment availability and if appropriate ensure the work plan reflects issues raised by customer needs.
- Manage the collection, tagging, labeling, and tracking of parts and rebuild components and hoses transaction date to date.
QUALIFICATIONS;
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or any other equivalent qualifications.
- At least 5 years of working experience.
- Background in Mechanical Engineering is a bonus.
- Must have strong time management skills
- Ability to delegate and work well within a team.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
