March 21, 2018: Shanice released the below pics of her and her husband – actor Flex Alexander.Shaniece still looks great. Now she favors Oprah Winfrey.
Back in 1991, her single “I Love Your Smile” peaked at No. 2 on both the Billboard Hot 100 as well as the U.K. Singles Chart. She married actor and comedian Flex Washington, and they lived a happy life with the kids. Fast forward two decades and the couple were forced to file for bankruptcy.
The Grammy-nominated singer Shanice and her family were evicted by police from their former home.
“It was devastating,” said Shanice. “There were so many nights where I had to cry on his shoulder, and nights where he had to cry on my shoulder.”
“At the height of it, what we were bringing in was probably $1.3 million,” Flex told Yahoo! Finance’s Mandi Woodruff, “[but] I had never had the training in handling finances.”
Later that same year, the couple were given a reality television show on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network – Shanice and her husband, Flex, are starring in their own reality show Flex & Shanice, which ran for 3 seasons.
Maybe Shanice wants to look like the woman who saved her and her family’s life. She still looks cute. And Flex looks happy.
