school shooter Nikolas Cruz’s younger brother Zachary was in court
yesterday supporting his brother. The 18-year-old became emotional
during the hearing yesterday as he sat next to his guardian Rocxanne
Deschamps, who also cared for Nikolas for a brief period while he lived
at her Lantana home.The two sat in the public gallery at Broward County Court alongside the devastated families of 17 slain students and teachers, allegedly killed at the hands of Nikolas Cruz during a murderous rampage at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Parkland, on February 14, 2018.
Court reports state that the brothers did not make eye contact the whole time that they shared the courtroom. Zachary Cruz, Rocxanne Deschamps, and the family members of the victims left the courtroom after Wednesday’s hearing without commenting.
Nikolas was an OPEN White supremacist and believed in NAZI teachings, and Trump’s anti-American rhetoric. It’s amazing that someone with a Black person in their family would embrace such ideas. But at the same time, we know that many racists and bigots use having Black family members and friends as a wall to hide behind their racism.
Trump has truly opened up the gateway to hell. We pray that there are no further school slayings this year, or ever!
