A fan explained Cardi’s reasoning, and the Bardi rapper liked the fans comment.
Her feelings may not be too far from the truth. Bruno Mars has earned clout in his own right and took home several Grammys thing year, but having a hot artist like Cardi B cannot hurt. Having her on the tour would most likely open Bruno Mars up to a whole new audience who would not otherwise listen to his music.
But the “Bartier Cardi” singer has never been lacking in confidence.
“Being a feminist is such a great thing and some people feel like someone like me can’t be as great as that,” she told I-D. “But then some people are smart but they don’t have no common sense…. They think feminism is great and only a woman that can speak properly, that has a degree, who is a boss, a businessperson… they think only Michelle Obama can be a feminist. But being a feminist is real simple; it’s that a woman can do things the same as a man. I’m equal to a n****. Anything a man can do, I can do. I can finesse, I can hustle. We have the same freedom. I was top of the charts. I’m a woman and I did that. I do feel equal to a man.”
The 23 date tour kicks off on September 7th and includes cities like Brooklyn, Denver, Boston, Tulsa, Toronto, and Philadelphia.
Has her fame given her a huge ego or is she right?
