October 11, 2017: A popular Detroit rapper has been fatally shot on the city’s west side.Doughboy Roc, a member of the notorious Detroit rap crew Doughboyz Cashout, was shot and killed on the west side of his hometown today. He was 29.
Born Rodney Yeargin, he was sitting in a white Hyundai when he was shot at around 3:30 p.m. He was hit in his right ear and shoulder and pronounced dead at the scene.
According to social media, he was in the midst of a “social media beef” with local gangsters.
