October 25, 2017: Zendaya showed
off her new look as she attended the attend the 2017 InStyle Awards held
at the Getty Center. When asked about the new look, Zendaya told
reporters that she planned on “keeping it for a while.”Zendaya is biracial: her mother is White and her father is Black. She’s spoken out openly in the past about wanting to have a stronger connection with the African-American side of her family.
Hopefully, her new hairstyle won’t lead to a national incident, like the one caused by former TV personality Giuliana Rancic when she insulted Zendaya’s faux locs a few years back.
