Taylor Swift has testified in court to say she was groped by a DJ and that it was "very long" and "intentional".
The pop star told a US federal court jury that David
Mueller grabbed her bare buttocks under her dress during a meeting with
fans before a concert in 2013.The 27-year-old spoke forcefully in Denver, Colorado, as she described what had happened during the incident.
"It was a definite grab... a very long grab," she said. "It was intentional. He stayed latched onto my bare ass cheek.
"I felt him grab onto my ass cheek under my skirt. He grabbed my ass underneath my skirt."
Swift said the alleged grope occurred as she posed with Mueller and his then-girlfriend Shannon Melcher for a photo.
Mueller, 55, testified on Tuesday to say he may have made innocent physical contact with Swift, but insisted he did not grope her.
The country and western DJ is suing Swift for at least $3m (£2.3m) in order to clear his name and recover lost earnings.
He was fired from his $150,000-a-year "dream job" at country station KYGO-FM after Swift's team reported the alleged assault to his boss.
Swift is counter-suing Mueller for a symbolic $1 (77p) in compensation, and says she wants it to serve as an example to other women who have been assaulted.
A picture of Swift, Mueller and his girlfriend is a key piece of evidence in the lawsuit - with lawyers for the singer claiming it is "damning" proof that the presenter touched her backside.
Swift told the court that a bodyguard, Greg Dent, who is on the witness list, saw Mueller "lift my skirt" and grab her.
But, she said, it was impossible for anyone to see if Mueller's hand was beneath her skirt and on her buttock because they had their backs to a wall.
The pop star said she did not say anything to Mueller about it at the time because she did not want fans nearby to hear anything, and that she did not want to cancel the event and disappoint them.
Swift told the jury she tried to get as far away from Mueller as she could after the photo.
